The Digital Growth Specialist is responsible for helping drive profitable growth across the company’s direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands. This is a hands-on role focused on digital marketing, e-commerce, customer acquisition, conversion, retention, and the overall online customer experience.

The ideal candidate combines strong digital marketing and e-commerce expertise with a deep understanding of consumer behavior. This individual will use data, customer insights, testing, and digital execution to identify opportunities, improve performance, and increase online sales.

The Digital Growth Specialist will work across multiple brands, applying proven strategies and learnings while recognizing the unique customer, positioning, and needs of each brand.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES amp; DUTIES
The primary Responsibilities and Duties of this position are:
DTC amp; E-Commerce Growth
  • Execute digital growth initiatives designed to increase online sales, customer acquisition, conversion, and overall profitability across the company’s DTC brands.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the online customer journey and remove barriers to purchase.
  • Partner with internal teams and external agencies, freelancers, and other resources to execute growth initiatives effectively.
  • Stay current on digital commerce trends, consumer behaviors, emerging platforms, and best practices.
Customer Insights amp; Consumer Behavior
  • Develop a strong understanding of target customers, their behaviors, needs, motivations, and purchasing patterns.
  • Analyze customer feedback, website behavior, campaign performance, and sales data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate customer insights into actionable recommendations for marketing, merchandising, creative, and e-commerce initiatives.
  • Continuously evaluate what motivates customers to purchase and identify factors that may prevent conversion.
Customer Acquisition amp; Paid Media
  • Manage and optimize paid digital campaigns across Meta, Google, and other relevant acquisition channels.
  • Monitor and optimize campaigns based on key performance indicators, including Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), conversion rate, and profitability.
  • Collaborate on paid media strategy, audience targeting, creative testing, messaging, and budget allocation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and scalability of customer acquisition efforts.
Conversion Rate Optimization
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve conversion across product pages, landing pages, websites, and the overall purchase experience.
  • Evaluate product page content, merchandising, messaging, pricing, promotions, offers, bundles, and calls-to-action.
  • Partner with creative, brand, merchandising, and e-commerce teams to improve the customer experience and increase conversion.
  • Use performance data and testing to determine which changes have the greatest impact on customer behavior.
Testing amp; Optimization
  • Develop and execute a continuous test-and-learn approach across digital channels.
  • Test creative, messaging, audiences, offers, website experiences, merchandising, and other customer touchpoints.
  • Analyze test results and use findings to inform future strategies and initiatives.
  • Document and share successful strategies and key learnings across the brand portfolio.
Customer Retention amp; Lifecycle Marketing
  • Support email, SMS, and other lifecycle marketing initiatives designed to increase customer retention, repeat purchases, and customer lifetime value.
  • Analyze customer engagement and purchasing behavior to identify opportunities to improve retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize lifecycle communications and customer journeys.
Performance Analytics amp; Reporting
  • Monitor and analyze key DTC and e-commerce performance metrics, including:
    • Traffic
    • Conversion Rate (CVR)
    • Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
    • Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
    • Average Order Value (AOV)
    • Customer Lifetime Value (LTV)
    • Repeat purchase and retention rates
  • Translate data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Regularly communicate performance trends, opportunities, challenges, and recommended actions to management.
  • Use analytics to prioritize initiatives based on potential business impact.
Cross-Brand Collaboration
  • Identify successful strategies and opportunities that can be applied across the company’s portfolio of brands.
  • Maintain an understanding of the distinct positioning, customer base, voice, and business objectives of each brand.
  • Share insights, best practices, and performance learnings across teams.
  • Collaborate effectively with marketing, creative, merchandising, e-commerce, product, and other cross-functional teams.
SKILLS amp; QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, Business, Communications, Advertising, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–4+ years of experience in DTC, e-commerce, digital marketing or growth, ideally with consumer products.
  • Strong understanding of the digital customer journey and consumer behavior.
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify, Meta Ads, Google Ads and GA4.
  • Experience with email/SMS platforms and lifecycle marketing is a plus.
  • Comfortable working with key DTC metrics including CAC, ROAS, CVR, AOV and LTV.
  • Analytical, curious and comfortable using data to make decisions.
  • Strong instincts around creative, messaging, merchandising and what makes customers convert.
  • Able to manage multiple initiatives and work effectively with internal teams, agencies and freelancers.
  • High ownership, attention to detail and bias toward action.
