Job description
A P&G PC&IS Engineer will be responsible for:
P&G's freelancer opportunities are for project-based or other short-term engagements that require specialized skills. Successful candidates for freelancer opportunities will not be considered employees of The Procter & Gamble Company or any of its subsidiaries nor will candidates be eligible for employment benefits. - Responsible for development and innovation in electrical design, programming, and digitization of automated, robotic, and information systems
- Lead process improvement in terms of material utilization, safety, and cost
- Own and build Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and Human to Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
- Lead manufacturing lines and machine controls
- Strong Leadership skills and have led teams
- Strong Written and Verbal communication skills
- Experience (or ability to quickly learn) in power systems, computing and network technologies, machine control and instrumentation, vision systems, robotics; knowledge and experience in electrical safety regulations and best practices.
