Job description

Que Technology Group, Inc., is seeking System Administrator to provide Infrastructure Server and Sustainment services, to enhance and complement High Performance Computing (HPC) sustainment capabilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Configure and manage Linux, Unix, and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance Support the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware Possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration Assist users in accessing and using IT systems Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning Analyze and provide feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets Support the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in technical discipline Minimum of five (5) years of system administration experience or ten (10) years' experience in lieu of degree DoD 8570 IAT II level certification BENEFITS: Competitive salary Company Medical/Dental/Vision plans - Company paid Short-term Disability, Long-term disability and Life Insurance - Company paid Business/ First Class travel upgrade for 7 hour or longer flights & company card will be provided for expenses Vacation / Personal days granted at 25 days per year Paid Federal Holidays - 11 days $5,000 Annual Professional Development Fund plus 40 paid hours if in class 401K with 6% company match; all contributions are immediately vested by Employee Employee will be paid a bonus of $10,000 per employee hired based on their referral * Up to 3 paid Code Red days due to customer closure Que Technology Group, Inc., is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
