Part-Time Graphic Designer (Execution + Art Direction)

Simply is a leader in natural gum and confections, known for clean ingredients, thoughtful design, and bold branding. We’re a small, creative, and collaborative team, and we’re looking for a part-time Graphic Designer who can both execute high-quality work and help shape how our brand shows up across channels.


The role


The Graphic Designer will create and refine visual assets for packaging, digital channels, social media, and marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency with the brand’s visual identity. Day-to-day tasks include developing graphics for product launches, designing logos and icons, selecting and applying typography, and preparing files for print and digital use. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and product teams to translate concepts into clear, appealing visuals, maintaining brand guidelines, and iterating designs based on feedback and performance data. This position requires strong attention to detail, organized file management, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, consumer-focused environment.


This is a fully remote, part-time role averaging ~20 hours per week, with some week-to-week flexibility. We’re aiming to fill the role ASAP.


What you’ll do

• Design and execute creative across packaging, digital, social, eCommerce (esp. Amazon), and sales materials with a mobile-first approach (thumb-stopping, fast-scanning layouts)

• Help art direct projects by translating brand strategy into cohesive visual systems that balance brand storytelling with conversion performance

• Maintain and evolve Simply’s visual identity across all touchpoints ensuring designs are optimized for platform native formats

• Manage design assets and work directly with packaging, print, and content vendors

• Design for both print and digital formats, including static and providing input on video assets

• Support the design of quarterly influencer and gifting boxes

• Ensure consistency, quality, and brand alignment across all outputs


Who you are

• Strong, clean, modern design aesthetic aligned with lifestyle and CPG brands

• Comfortable owning both execution and visual direction

• Portfolio demonstrating brand systems, packaging, and multi-channel work

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop (motion/video a plus)

• Strong understanding of specs for social platforms, eCommerce, and print including but not limited to advertising creative for Sponsored Ads, DSP, and other paid channels.

• Organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple projects independently

• Comfortable working in a test-and-learn environment, designing structured variants and translating results into smarter creative decisions


Minimum qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience

• Experience with graphic design and basic video or motion content

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

• Self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
