Show Tech Lighting 1 | Touring & Live Events Focus

Location: Orlando, FL | Las Vegas, NV | Nashville, TN Schedule: Full Time | Touring & Event Based Company: LMG Pay: $35 - $47.50/hr

This role is fully focused on touring and live events. As a Show Tech Lighting 1, you will travel to venues, set up, operate, and strike complex lighting systems, creating the right atmosphere for each show. Join our team to be hands on in fast paced event environments and help deliver unforgettable experiences.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Focus primarily on touring and live event lighting setup and operation
  • Review show schedules, contracts, quotes, and technical drawings to plan setups
  • Design, set up, and operate complex lighting systems for events
  • Assist in warehouse prep, pulling, testing, and repairing lighting equipment
  • Travel to venues to assess staging, power, and setup requirements
  • Receive, inspect, and verify equipment against manifests
  • Act as Lead Show Technician or support role to implement show contracts
  • Direct and coordinate technicians and freelance labor when assigned
  • Operate lighting systems during shows to meet client expectations
  • Document show activities, hours, equipment issues, and client notes
  • Secure, strike, pack, and load lighting equipment for transport
  • Respond to client needs and technical issues during and after events

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years experience in lighting setup, operation, and strike for Touring Events
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally
  • Comfortable working in fast paced, high energy environments
  • Strong client service, problem solving, and safety awareness
  • Adaptable and able to work in dynamic event settings
