Job description

Our client, a rapidly growing direct-to-consumer brand, is at an exciting inflection point, scaling their subscription model and deepening their lifecycle marketing capabilities. Partnering with Aquent, they are seeking exceptional talent to drive their marketing initiatives forward. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team where your contributions will have a direct, visible impact across the business.

Are you a hands‐on email marketing expert ready to be the execution engine behind a rapidly expanding CRM program? We are seeking a skilled Email & CRM Specialist to take ownership of the day‐to‐day execution of our client's email channel. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the lifecycle lead, bringing campaigns, automations, and personalization programs to life, directly influencing customer engagement and business growth.

Your precision, independence, and ability to build with impact will be critical to scaling our client's customer lifecycle initiatives and shaping how they connect with their audience. What You'll Do Campaign Production Build, QA, and deploy email campaigns and A/B test variants within the Email Service Provider (ESP). Send proofs, validate links, and ensure error‐free execution before every send.

Add analytics platform annotations and QA landing page experiences for all sends. Execute scheduling in alignment with the campaign calendar. Lifecycle & Automation Build triggered journey workflows covering onboarding, engagement, retention, and winback flows.

Implement branching logic, audience entry/exit rules, and journey sequencing. Execute ongoing journey optimizations as directed by the lifecycle roadmap. Email Development & Personalization Build and maintain modular, reusable email templates using HTML/CSS.

Implement dynamic content, conditional rendering, and personalization logic. Build dynamic tables and product‐level targeting using data payload inputs. Update legacy templates to current brand standards; rebuild transactional emails as needed.

Data, Segmentation & QA Understand and work with incoming data payloads, custom events, and behavioral signals to develop and troubleshoot email builds. Implement audience segmentation, suppression logic, and behavioral targeting within the ESP. Conduct data QA across email and site touchpoints — troubleshoot what's going right and wrong, and flag issues proactively.

Support cross‐platform reporting aligned with current web analytics and lifecycle metrics. Analytics & Reporting Pull campaign performance exports and prepare reporting scorecards. Execute A/B test reporting as directed by the experimentation roadmap.

Maintain performance dashboards for journey health monitoring. What We're Looking For Must-Have Qualifications 3–5+ years of hands‐on email marketing execution experience. Strong HTML/CSS skills — you're comfortable building and troubleshooting email templates from scratch.

Experience working with enterprise‐level Email Service Providers (ESPs) at a technical level (experience with leading platforms preferred). Familiarity with data payloads, custom events, and dynamic content logic — you understand how data flows into email. Proven ability to QA with precision and troubleshoot across email, links, and site integrations.

Self‐starter with strong written communication — you over‐communicate when needed and flag issues before they escalate. Additional Skills & Experience Experience building lifecycle automations and triggered journey workflows. Comfort with audience segmentation and suppression logic.

Working knowledge of current web analytics platforms and cross‐channel attribution. Ability to work cross‐functionally with partners across eCommerce, brand, and product teams. Nice to Have Background in eCommerce, D2C, subscription, or CPG/food & beverage brands.

Omni‐channel mindset — experience thinking across digital, in‐store, and app touchpoints. Familiarity with a leading Customer Data Platform (CDP) — candidates with this experience will stand out. Experience supporting or partnering on a loyalty or membership program.

Who Thrives Here Takes ownership and executes without needing to be managed step‐by‐step. Is collaborative and communicative — understands that their work has downstream effects on others. Doesn't assume — especially when working with data — and asks the right questions.

Never considers any task beneath them and brings the same care to small details as big builds. Is creative within constraints, finding solutions with what's available rather than waiting for perfect conditions. Our eligible talent get access to amazing benefits like subsidized health, vision, and dental plans, paid sick leave, and retirement plans with a match.

We also offer free online training through Aquent Gymnasium. Aquent is an equal‐opportunity employer. We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, and other legally protected characteristics.

We're about creating an inclusive environment‐one where different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives are valued, and everyone can contribute, grow their careers, and thrive. #J-18808-Ljbffr
