Industrial Maintenance Technician - Electrical / Motor Control
Erie, PA
Full-Time
Pay: ($28 - $32 )
Erie Plating is hiring two Industrial Maintenance Technicians to support production equipment and facility infrastructure in an active manufacturing environment.
**Due to FAA regulations, you must pass a drug screen; medical marijuana cards are NOT accepted**
**This is not a general maintenance role. Experience with 3-phase electrical systems and motor controls is required. **
Requirements
  • Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with 3-phase electrical systems and motor controls
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and complete repairs
  • Ability to read diagrams and work with minimal supervision
  • Reliable attendance and dependable follow-through

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase electrical systems and motor control circuits
  • Diagnose equipment failures and restore equipment safely and efficiently
  • Install and replace motors, pumps, seals, and related components
  • Perform preventative maintenance and document completed work
  • Read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Respond to urgent equipment problems as needed

Position Fit
  • Comfortable working on active production equipment
  • Able to contribute to both breakdown response and preventative maintenance
  • Able to work independently and follow through
