Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Project Coordinator to support attorneys on some of the nation's most complex fraud investigations and litigation matters. This role serves as the bridge between legal teams and technology, guiding cases through the full Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) lifecycle while managing large-scale data collections, document reviews, analytics, productions, and trial readiness efforts. The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills, deep eDiscovery expertise, knowledge of legal and forensic processes, and hands-on experience with leading litigation support platforms and modern search technologies, including AI-assisted review. This is a full-time, onsite role based out of Washington, DC. Key Responsibilities * Serve as the primary technical point of contact throughout the discovery lifecycle, providing guidance on eDiscovery technology, workflows, and best practices.
* Manage 8-10 large, complex matters simultaneously from data collection through production and trial support.
* Consult with attorneys and case teams to develop technical strategies, requirements, project plans, and discovery solutions.
* Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful execution of discovery activities.
* Translate legal requirements into technical work orders and oversee data staging, culling, processing, loading, review, and production workflows.
* Advise legal teams on technology solutions for early case assessment, search, analytics, document review, and production.
* Train and support attorneys using Relativity, RelOne, and similar review platforms.
* Run productions, support exhibit management, leverage analytics and AI tools, and provide reporting on project status and metrics.
* Ensure compliance with established procedures, security requirements, and protocols for handling sensitive and seized evidence.
* Serve as the technical representative and trusted eDiscovery advisor for assigned matters.
Required Qualifications * Minimum 5 years of experience providing eDiscovery and litigation support on large, complex matters.
* Strong understanding of the EDRM, particularly data collection, review, analytics, and production.
* Experience managing large-scale document reviews and complex discovery workflows.
* Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, data sources, and enterprise technology environments.
* Expertise with litigation support and eDiscovery platforms, including Relativity Server, RelOne, Nuix, Axiom, and similar tools.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organizational, project management, and stakeholder management abilities.
* Proven ability to prioritize and deliver results in a fast-paced environment with demanding deadlines.
* Bachelor's degree required; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
* Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications * Advanced degree and/or eDiscovery-related certifications.
* Experience applying project management methodologies to complex legal technology initiatives.
* Knowledge of legal requirements related to accessing and handling seized evidence.
* Experience managing document reviews exceeding 1 million records.
