Job description

We are seeking a Freelance Social Media Growth Strategist with a proven track record of launching and scaling social media accounts to significant audiences.

Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute organic audience growth strategies across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
  • Grow both creator-led and entertainment brand accounts from existing and early-stage audiences to significant scale.
  • Identify repeatable content formats, hooks, trends, and distribution strategies capable of generating high reach and follower growth.
  • Develop short-form video strategies for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Translate a filmmaker's personality, expertise, and creative perspective into compelling creator-led social content.
  • Build strategies that connect audiences across a personal creator profile, production studio, and entertainment brand.
  • Identify creator collaborations, partnerships, and cross-promotion opportunities that accelerate organic growth.
  • Use performance data to continuously test, optimise, and scale successful content formats.
  • Recommend paid amplification opportunities where they can accelerate proven organic content.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience launching and scaling social media accounts to significant audiences, ideally 500K-1M+ followers.
  • Portfolio or case studies showing measurable follower, reach, viewership, and engagement growth.
  • Direct experience growing creators, personalities, influencers, founders, artists, filmmakers, or other talent-led accounts.
  • Strong understanding of organic growth mechanics across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and short-form video.
  • Ability to identify why content performs and translate successful formats into repeatable growth systems.
  • Strong understanding of creator culture, audience behaviour, social trends, and community building.
  • Experience within entertainment, film, media, creator economy, or culturally driven brands is highly preferred.
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on with content direction and growth execution.

PREFERRED

  • Experience growing an account from early stage to 1M+ followers. and generating viral or high-volume organic video reach at scale.
  • Experience working directly with established creators or entertainment personalities.
  • Film, entertainment, production studio, or creator economy experience.
  • Familiarity with Persian-American, Middle Eastern, diaspora, or multicultural audiences.
