Job description

Job Title: Sitework Designer 2 or 3

Date Posted: 8/26/26  

Location: 3535 Colonnade Parkway, Birmingham, AL 35243

Job Type: Contract Full-Time

Immediate W2 contract position available in Birmingham, AL.
Estimated Duration: 1 year
Job Responsibilities:

  • Producing 3D models and design drawings for sitework grading and drainage.
  • Preparing layouts and conceptual designs.
  • Reviewing vendor drawings.
  • Preparing material takeoffs.
  • Assisting with cost estimates.
  • This position requires travel 25% of the time.


Skillsets and Expertise Required:

  • The Sitework Designer 2/3 position requires 5-10 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of using AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations such as Ga-EPD, ADEM, MDEQ, and Florida DEP.
  • The ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors.

 

Skillsets and Expertise Preferred:

  • A technical degree is preferred.
  • 3D modeling experience is preferred.
