Title: Mechanical Engineer (SolidWorks)
Location: Houston, TX

The Mechanical Engineer – Completion Products is responsible for the design, development, and validation of downhole completion tools used in oil & gas wells. The role involves extensive use of SolidWorks for 3D modeling, detailing, and design changes, along with strong understanding of completion product functionality, HPHT conditions, and industry standards. The engineer will work closely with manufacturing, testing, and cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver reliable, field‑ready completion solutions.

Mechanical Design & Product Development
Design and develop downhole completion products such as packers, tubing accessories, liner hangers, sleeves, and smart completion components.
Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using SolidWorks in accordance with engineering standards.
Modify and enhance existing completion tools to meet new functional, pressure, temperature, or customer requirements.

Engineering Analysis & Validation
Support or interpret FEA and stress analysis results for components operating in high‑pressure, high‑temperature (HPHT) environments.
Ensure designs meet mechanical integrity requirements for shock, vibration, pressure cycling, and fatigue.
Participate in prototype build, qualification, and validation testing.
