Job description

We're partnering with a school in Pima County, Arizona to hire a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year.
The Speech Language Pathologist will support students by assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders, helping improve students' academic performance and overall communication skills. This role plays a critical part in fostering student success by collaborating with educators, families, and support staff.
Position Details:
  • Start Date: July 20, 2026

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, full-time, onsite

  • Grade Levels: K-2 and 6-12

  • School Year: 2026/2027


Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals based on student needs

  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and compliance records

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress reporting

  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed

  • Provide consultation and resources to staff and families to support communication development


Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field

  • Active Arizona licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows welcome

  • Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred

  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education compliance

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
