Overview
The Senior Digital & Marketing Analyst is a key member of the Commercial Analytics team responsible for transforming digital, marketing, customer, and commercial data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement. This role partners closely with Marketing, E-commerce, and Commercial Excellence to analyze customer behavior across the end-to-end customer journey, evaluate marketing effectiveness, optimize digital experiences, and support strategic business decisions.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical expertise with business acumen, leveraging data from digital channels, CRM platforms, marketing systems, and commercial operations to identify opportunities, measure performance, and recommend improvements. This role goes beyond reporting by delivering meaningful insights, supporting experimentation, and influencing business strategy through data-driven storytelling.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze digital and marketing performance across web, e-commerce, self-service, assisted channels, and marketing campaigns, including traffic, conversion, funnel performance, customer engagement, and revenue contribution.
  • Develop insights into customer behavior throughout the end-to-end customer journey, identifying opportunities to improve acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention, and customer lifetime value.
  • Partner with Marketing, E-commerce, Commercial Excellence, and Revenue Operations teams to evaluate campaign performance, channel effectiveness, attribution, marketing mix, and return on investment (ROI), recommending optimization strategies.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations through compelling data storytelling and executive-level presentations.
  • Support experimentation initiatives, including A/B testing and conversion optimization, by defining success metrics, analyzing results, and providing recommendations.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities through analysis of internal and external data sources.
  • Build Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to automate insight.
  • Integrate digital analytics, CRM, marketing automation, and commercial data to provide a comprehensive view of customer and revenue performance.
  • Develop scalable analytical frameworks, performance metrics, KPIs, benchmarks, and data pipelines to support ongoing business decision-making.
  • Perform advanced statistical and quantitative analyses, including regression analysis, significance testing, segmentation, attribution modeling, marketing mix analysis, and predictive modeling where appropriate.
  • Coordinate analytics activities across multiple projects while collaborating with cross-functional and global stakeholders.
  • Support strategic initiatives by providing analytical expertise that informs commercial and marketing priorities.

Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital analytics, marketing analytics, e-commerce analytics, consulting, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong experience analyzing digital funnels, customer journeys, campaign performance, web analytics, conversion rates, attribution, marketing effectiveness, and ROI.
  • Experience working with large datasets and translating analysis into actionable business insights.
  • Hands-on experience with digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Marketing Cloud, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, Excel, and at least one analytical programming language such as Python.
  • Experience working with marketing technology platforms, CRM systems, and marketing automation tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex analyses to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and matrixed organizations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in technology, life sciences, SaaS, e-commerce, or other data-driven organizations.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, Marketo, or similar marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Knowledge of experimentation frameworks, A/B testing methodologies, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Experience with statistical modeling, predictive analytics, machine learning techniques, customer segmentation, clustering, and classification models.
  • Experience integrating digital analytics with downstream commercial, sales, and revenue data.
  • Familiarity with customer lifetime value modeling, marketing attribution, and marketing mix modeling.
