We draw inspiration from an active coastal California lifestyle; an integration of fitness, creative expression and life. Our high energy fast paced retail environment is reflected in the clothes we make. We aim to inspire others to take on all aspects of their lives with clarity, enthusiasm and purpose...while having a lot of fun along the way. We are proud to be an outlet for opportunity and for personal growth and success.
Job Description
At Vuori, we believe in an Investment in Happiness - creating products and experiences that inspire people to live healthier, more balanced lives. The Director of Events & Experiential plays a critical role in bringing this philosophy to life through meaningful, large-scale brand experiences that connect movement, community, and culture.
This strategic and creative leader will define and drive Vuori's global experiential and activation strategy, shaping how the brand shows up across retail, community, and cultural spaces. The role leads immersive marketing experiences, wellness programming, and culturally relevant brand moments that deepen connection, inspire engagement, and strengthen brand affinity.
Working cross-functionally with Activation, Retail, Influencer, PR, Sports Marketing, Wholesale, and Brand teams, this role ensures Vuori delivers cohesive, elevated experiences that reflect its performance-driven, wellness-focused, and California lifestyle positioning across global markets.
What you'll get to do:
Experiential Strategy & Brand Activation
  • Manage the global strategy for experiential and activation programs that bring the Vuori lifestyle to life and strengthen community connection.
  • Develop and execute a global experiential roadmap that builds brand love, drives engagement, and supports long-term growth.
  • Design, launch, and optimize large-scale immersive brand experiences across live events, retail environments, and consumer-facing platforms.
  • Support product launches and seasonal campaigns through innovative, experiential storytelling.
  • Create scalable event platforms and activation playbooks to ensure consistent execution across markets.
  • Identify new partnerships, cultural opportunities, and experiential innovations that keep Vuori at the forefront of brand engagement.

Retail & Community Experiences
  • Manage large-scale, brand-led marketing events, flagship activations, and major store openings that set the experiential vision and elevate how Vuori shows up in physical spaces.
  • Partner closely with the Retail Community team to align elevated brand moments with local, grassroots programming-ensuring clarity on ownership, scope, and execution.
  • Define and lead experiential moments that are national, global, or culturally significant in scale (e.g., marquee store openings, major brand moments, high-profile partnerships), while enabling the Retail Community team to own ongoing local and community-driven events.
  • Collaborate with Retail and Community leadership to establish clear activation models that distinguish:
  • Brand-led, elevated experiences (owned by this role)
  • Community-led, local programming (owned by the Retail Community team)
  • Ensure all experiences-whether led or partnered-reflect Vuori's values of movement, mindfulness, and elevated everyday living.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Amplification
  • Partner with PR, Influencer, Sports Marketing, Retail, Wholesale, International Marketing, and Creative teams to deliver integrated brand experiences.
  • Align global activations with regional market needs while maintaining a consistent brand identity.
  • Serve as a trusted internal partner, providing cultural insights and experiential expertise across the organization.
  • Share market learnings, consumer insights, and emerging trends to inform future strategies.

Production, Operations & Execution
  • Oversee end-to-end production including logistics, vendor management, agency partnerships, and performance measurement.
  • Manage experiential agencies, production partners, and external vendors to ensure seamless execution.
  • Establish scalable processes, tools, and operational frameworks for repeatable success.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational requirements for events and activations.

Budget & Performance Management
  • Own and manage experiential and activation budgets.
  • Track performance metrics and optimize investment based on impact and ROI.
  • Manage multi-million-dollar budgets and negotiate vendor partnerships.

Team Leadership
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing experiential and activations team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Oversee agency and freelance resources as needed.

Qualifications
Who you are:
  • 10+ years of experience in experiential marketing, partnership marketing, influencer marketing, or brand activation roles.
