Job description

We're partnering with a school in Fort Bend County, TX to hire a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (Bilingual).
The Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist supports students by providing culturally and linguistically responsive speech and language services that enhance communication, academic participation, and social development. This role partners with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure equitable access to services for bilingual and multilingual learners across school settings.
Position Details:

  • Start Date: 8/12/26
  • End Date: 5/26/27
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, school hours
  • Grade Levels: HS, JH, and Elementary
  • Location: In Person, 40 hours
  • School Year: 2026/2027

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to bilingual and multilingual students in accordance with IEP goals and district guidelines.
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations using appropriate assessment tools for culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices that support language development in both English and the student's home language as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers to support student communication and academic outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Monitor, document, and report student progress in compliance with state and federal requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with families in a culturally responsive manner regarding student progress and needs.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active or eligible Texas Speech Language Pathologist license.
  • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English required).
  • Experience or training working with culturally and linguistically diverse student populations.
  • Knowledge of speech, language, voice, fluency, and pragmatic disorders in school-aged children.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students across elementary, junior high, and high school settings.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and professional growth.
