BOLD is a digital magazine covering fashion, lifestyle, culture, and technology . We publish thoughtful, culturally relevant stories with a strong editorial voice for a global, internet-savvy audience. We are currently in an early growth phase , publishing primarily on Substack , while building a strong editorial foundation ahead of wider platform expansion.

Role Overview We are looking for Freelance Writers who can consistently produce original, well-researched editorial content for BOLD. Writers will contribute articles across fashion, lifestyle, culture, and technology while working closely with the editorial team. This is a remote freelance opportunity with the potential to grow into a larger or long-term role based on performance and editorial needs.

Key Responsibilities Write original, high-quality editorial articles for BOLD Magazine Pitch relevant and timely story ideas Cover topics across: Fashion Lifestyle & culture Internet culture and technology Conduct thorough research and fact-checking Meet agreed editorial deadlines Revise drafts based on editorial feedback Follow BOLD's editorial SOP, tone, and style guidelines Source suitable images and provide correct credits when required Collaborate with editors to maintain consistency and quality Content Expectations Article Length: 800โ€“1000 words (up to 1500 words maximum) Publishing Frequency: Approximately 2โ€“5 articles per week , depending on editorial planning and team requirements Section allocation will be decided based on editorial needs and the number of writers in the team. Required Skills & Experience Strong writing and storytelling ability Excellent command of British / standard English Ability to write clear, engaging long-form content Understanding of digital media and contemporary culture Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Ability to research and reference credible sources Nice to Have Background in fashion, lifestyle, journalism, or cultural media Previous bylines or published writing samples Experience with digital publishing platforms (e.g., Substack) Interest in trend analysis, opinion writing, or interviews Basic understanding of SEO and digital headlines Editorial Standards All work submitted must meet BOLD's editorial standards: Original, non-AI generated writing (AI may be used for research only) Clear structure with strong leads and narrative flow Well-researched and culturally aware content Opinionated where appropriate, but fact-driven and responsible Professional, respectful tone aligned with BOLD's editorial voice Compensation $0.10 per word Payment based on approved and published articles Clear payment schedule communicated during onboarding Growth Opportunity Writers who consistently deliver high-quality work may be considered for expanded responsibilities or full-time editorial roles as BOLD grows. #J-18808-Ljbffr
