Job description

Overview
Logos Technologies is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer to support ongoing technology development efforts at our Fairfax, VA office. This role will contribute to ISR sensor design, high-powered laser systems, and unmanned aerial vehicle integration. This role will include research, design, development and testing of electronic subsystems and systems for development efforts.
Responsibilities
  • Support the development and design of system from initial concept through prototype and low-rate production
  • Research, design, develop, and test electrical components, both individually and as part of larger systems
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors responsible for component and subassembly manufacturing
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project deliverables, including detailed plans, schedules, resource allocations, risk assessments, issue tracking, and status reports for both customers and internal management.
  • Experience with ISR systems
  • Circuit Board Design with Altium or similar
  • Experience with cable manufacturing, including crimping and lacing.
  • Additive manufacturing experience a plus
  • FPGA programming experience a plus
  • Circuit board prototyping and repair

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with 2-4 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 0-2 years of experience.
  • Experience applying technical standards, principles, and theories.
  • Familiarity with Altium or comparable circuit-design tools.
  • Experience designing circuit boards, cables, and sensor systems individually and as part of as team.
  • Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one
