Winter Therapy, LLC is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in providing accessible and effective mental health services to clients in New York. As a key member of our outpatient team, you will engage in meaningful clinical work, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and promoting mental health education.

This is a full-time remote position that allows for a flexible work-life balance while ensuring that our clients receive high-quality care. You will work part of a multidisciplinary team that collaborates closely to address comprehensive client needs. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured approach to client consultations and therapy sessions.

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to identify patient needs and establish treatment goals.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that address the specific challenges faced by clients, utilizing diverse therapeutic approaches.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, coping strategies, and available support systems to enhance their understanding and progress.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow team members, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers, to ensure an integrated care approach.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training programs and workshops, contributing to improved service quality and client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards while ensuring confidentiality and ethical practice.

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and present a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and adjustment issues. As a mental health counselor at Winter Therapy, you will work with adults, adolescents, and families, tailoring your therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual. You will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on your clients’ lives, guiding them toward recovery and improved mental health.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field.
• Current New York State licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize and communicate effectively with clients and their families.
• Technical proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to facilitate client care and documentation.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role is required.
• Experience working in outpatient settings and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Proven track record of successful client outcomes through effective treatment interventions.
