As a remote organization, Winter Therapy, LLC supports flexible work settings that empower our counselors to provide care seamlessly from anywhere. While you will primarily work from home, regular online meetings and collaborative sessions will facilitate ongoing team engagement and training. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and psychosocial evaluations to identify clients’ needs, history, and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices that are tailored to individual client circumstances.
• Provide ongoing counseling and support, effectively addressing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health management, coping strategies, and community resources to enhance their support systems.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Participate in and contribute to case consultations and team meetings, sharing insights and expertise to foster a supportive team environment.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training sessions, workshops, and seminars relevant to mental health trends and treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health discipline is required.
• An active license as a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC), licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), or marriage and family therapist (LMFT) in New York State is essential.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with proficiency in telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• A passion for promoting mental health and a genuine desire to make a difference in clients' lives.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with additional specialization in trauma-informed care, family therapy, or substance use disorders are encouraged to apply. Experience with teletherapy and knowledge of cultural competency in mental health practices will also be valuable in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 110,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, including:
