Our mission is to provide exceptional mental health care to individuals, couples, and families facing a range of challenges, and we are looking for a skilled professional who can help our clients achieve healthier lifestyles through effective counseling and therapeutic interventions.

About the Organization

Living Free Mental and Behavioural Center is committed to making a difference in the lives of our clients by providing comprehensive and evidence-based mental health services. As part of a community health clinic, we focus on various aspects of mental and behavioral health and address both individual and systemic issues affecting our client population. We believe in a collaborative and holistic approach to treatment, ensuring that our clients receive the support they need on their journey to well-being.

This role is predominantly remote, allowing you to engage with clients through telehealth platforms while still being an integral part of our collaborative team. You will utilize modern technological tools to conduct assessments and therapy sessions, ensuring that clients have access to high-quality care from the comfort of their own homes. Our inclusive and supportive virtual environment fosters professional relationships and promotes effective teamwork among all staff members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and refer clients to specialists and additional resources as needed, ensuring comprehensive care.
  • Document therapy sessions and client progress accurately in a timely manner to maintain compliance with health care regulations.
  • Stay informed on current best practices in mental health treatment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

As an LMFT at Living Free, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families dealing with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our center also addresses issues related to substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, allowing you to make a significant impact on a broad spectrum of mental health challenges. The goal of your work will be to promote mental well-being and facilitate personal growth among our clients, supporting them in their day-to-day lives.

Qualifications
  • A valid LMFT license is required to practice.
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong background in therapeutic methodologies, particularly evidence-based practices tailored for mental health and co-occurring disorders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop rapport and foster trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling is preferred.
  • Experience working with virtual therapy platforms to deliver remote counseling services effectively.
  • Previous experience in a community health setting is desirable but not mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Full health benefits and retirement plan options.
  • A new hire bonus to support your transition into the role.
