Job description

Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Granger, Indiana.

Job Description & Requirements

Occupational Therapist (OT)

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional therapy services in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment and discharge plans, and delivering therapy aimed at improving independence in daily living skills.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients based on physician orders and referrals.
  • Develop and regularly update individualized treatment and discharge plans.
  • Document all services accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with practice acts and facility policies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD).
  • Active state Occupational Therapist license or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Strong clinical skills, along with excellent documentation and communication abilities.
