Overview
Join The Commons on St. Anthony family and experience our beautifully renovated facility and supportive team setting!
We are offering a FREE CNA Training Program in Auburn, with:
                    • Paid clinical training starting on Week 3 of the course
                    • All course materials, exam fees, and certification costs covered by Loretto
                    • A guaranteed CNA position with The Commons upon successful certification

Part time and Full time positions available for Days, Evenings and Nights.
Offering additional pay differential for evenings and nights and overtime after working 8-hour shift (vs 40 hours/week)!
Once certified the Certified Nurse's Aide performs direct and indirect care to promote the comfort, safety, convalescence and rehabilitation of residents as directed by our Clinical Team of Nurse Managers, Clinical Coordinators, Nursing Supervisors and Charge Nurses.
No Experience as a Aide/Caregiver, but your passion for caring for others!
We offer a paid training and certification program in Auburn and a guaranteed position upon graduation!
The Commons offers PayActiv, which allows Loretto employees to receive an advance on wages for which they've already worked, but have not yet been paid!

Responsibilities
The Certified Nurse's Aide performs direct and indirect care to residents as directed by our Clinical Team of Nurse Managers, Clinical Coordinators, Nursing Supervisors and Charge Nurses.
Duties include:
  • Provide compassionate care to a diverse age group of residents
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, transferring, bed mobility, ambulation, feeding, toileting, positioning
  • Distribute and assist with snacks and nourishment
  • Collaborating with other health care team members to personalize and enhance the patient experience
  • Responding to and anticipating the needs of patients' family members

Qualifications
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED that can be verified.
  • Must be able to read/write English Language
  • Ability to understand and carry out directions and instructions.
  • Ability to report changes in resident's condition and other pertinent information.
  • Ability to take and record information and basic records.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and able to learn new software rapidly.
