Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles, is currently seeking an Electrical Installer to join our team. The Electrical Installer at Frazer reports to the Electrical Supervisor. The primary objective of the Electrical Installer is to correctly install wiring or components necessary to power various electrical functions of Emergency Medical Services modules.

What Does a Week in the Life of the Electrical Installer Look Like?

  1. Obtain work assignment from supervisor or team lead.
  2. Clock in/out of job functions on Shop-Trac.

  3. Review/confirm Work Instructions in Frazer Job Manager.

  4. Validate that you have all materials and parts to complete job tasks.

  5. Communicate with the Team lead or supervisor if any parts are missing or damaged.

  6. Ensure you understand all work instructions and prints given, see lead/supervisor if there are any questions or unsure about any information given.

  7. Run wires neatly throughout the module to correct location per work instructions.

  8. Install components in the correct location using hand/power tools while following work instructions.

  9. Sign off completed tasks in Frazer Job Manager.

  10. Check your work when finished, then call QC to inspect.

  11. Keep your work center cleaned and organized throughout the day.

  12. Complete "Punch-List" items identified by quality control.

  13. Follow proper safety practices daily. (PPE, Toolbox Topics, JSA's)

  14. Attend all mandatory meetings.

  15. Approve your time-sheet every Monday morning.

  16. Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

  17. Assist and cross-train within the Electrical Department with assigned tasks.

  18. Assist other departments when needed.

  19. Check in material when assigned.

  20. Order material and KanBan for the work center.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Certification in Electrical or Electronics
  • 2- 4 Years of Electrical Assembly Experience.

  • Safe and correct use of a variety of hand tools and power tools.

Of course, we didn't forget the salary... Frazer offers competitive pay and this role will start with a salary between $20.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on education, certifications, and experience.

Work Schedule

The Electrical Installer will work Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM-1:30 PM. Late afternoon/evening/weekend hours may be required as needed. Work schedules may change to accommodate production needs.
