Job description

Here at Kaas Tailored, we value relationships. Whether it be with our customers, vendors, or employees, we are looking for individuals who can partner with us in our goal to put people first and create quality products. As a Frame Technician, you would be part of our team responsible for building and finishing wooden furniture frames. Individuals in this position are comfortable using a variety of tools to meticulously assemble CNC-cut elements, able to read and comprehend drawings, and able to follow directions to maintain our high-quality standards. Frame Technicians who thrive in this fast-paced work environment are systematic thinkers, quick learners, and love to work with their hands.
Regular schedule is 5:45 AM - 4:15 PM, Monday - Thursday. Overtime is not guaranteed, but current capacity needs may require team members to work additional hours on Fridays as well.
Essential Job Duties:
-Operate within a team atmosphere to build beautiful furniture
-Utilize different types of saws - band saw, table saw, panel saw
-Utilize different types of pneumatic fasteners to assemble finished frames - staple guns, spring clip guns
-Sand and finish exposed wood elements - previous staining experience desired
-Adhere materials to the finished frames such as textile and foam
-Inspect final product for defects prior to shipment
-Stand for the duration of a 10-hour shift
-Lift 50 lbs frequently
-Communicate effectively with the team
-Able to see variations in color

Benefits package includes:
Starting wage of $20.10 per hour with a clear path for wage growth.
The full range is $20.10 to $26.25 per hour.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Under 12 months: 1 hour PTO for every 30 worked.
After 1 Year: 70 hours PTO
After 3 Years: 110 hours PTO
After 5 Years: 120 hours + 30 hours paid Holiday during Christmas week
Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are paid for 10 hours after 1 month of employment.
Medical/Dental/Vision Benefits: Eligible for coverage on the 1st day of the month following completion of 60 days of employment.
Tuition Assistance: Eligible after 6 months of employment.
401(k): Employer match based on the profitability of the company.
Technology Reimbursement: Eligible after 1 year of employment.
