Job Summary
We are seeking an Automotive Body Repairer to join our team! As an Automotive Body Repairer, you will work closely with clients to build strong relationships, thoroughly inspect and evaluate vehicles, and provide accurate, honest estimates for repair. You will also assist with repairing vehicles, managing multiple repair projects at once, and working closely with coworkers to ensure work is completed properly and on time. The ideal candidate has previous autobody experience, excellent customer service and communication skills, and strong attention to detail. 

Responsibilities 
  • Inspect and provide accurate estimates for auto-body repair
  • Maintain strong lines of communication between yourself, the Maaco repair team, and the client throughout the whole process to build relationships and provide excellent customer service
  • Repair vehicles to the best of your ability, maintaining our high standards
  • Work within the guidelines of various insurance guidelines
  • Makes decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost and cycle time.
  • Participates in all required safety meetings.
Qualifications
  • Must have own tools
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a collision shop.
  • Ability to repair or replace panels according to OEM procedures
  • Ability to use frame machine preferred
  • Certification in body repair preferred
  • I-CAR certified preferred
  • Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
  • Mechanic experience
  • Welding
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Familiarity with insurance guidelines desired
