  • Inspects, repairs and rebuilds mechanical and/or electrical equipment and associated structures.  
  • Ensures that industrial and radiation safety requirements are followed.  
  • Analyzes equipment breakdowns, determines the proper corrective action, and direct repairs.  
  • Plans work schedules to accomplish required work and, when required, assign priorities.  
  • Develops, implements and maintains in-service inspection, testing and maintenance programs.  
  • Supports and conducts nondestructive examination (NDE) and QC inspections.  
  • Researches, interprets and explains inspection results.  
  • Maintains documentation to meet customer obligations and ensure proper test methodologies are in place.  
  • Complies with all applicable safety and health rules including personal dose compliance.  
  • Works flexible hours and shifts, as required, to ensure timely service.  
  • May require extensive travel to a variety of regional and remote job sites.  
  • May/Will require unescorted nuclear site access.  
  • Technical certifications to be acquired: NDE Technician:  Must record all experience gained, be LVL II in at least 2 disciplines and LVL III in 1 discipline; Leadership:  Must attend at least one leadership course per year, fill a leadership role and have GEN712.0 Framatome Nuclear Services Oral Board.

  • High School diploma or equivalent education
  • Minimum of 18 years of related experience and NDE  Advanced Technician requisites* is required.  
  • NDE  Advanced Technician requisites met: NDE Technician:  Must record all experience gained, be LVL 2 in at least 2 disciplines and LVL III in 1 discipline; Leadership: should have demonstrated leadership experience or training, filled a leadership role and had GEN712.0 Framatome Nuclear Services Oral Board (for external candidates, successful completion within a defined agreed period of time at hire).
  • Expert knowledge of commonly used equipment, practices, procedures and concepts in a particular field.  
  • Typically requires specific nuclear reactor plant maintenance qualification training and certification.
  • Knowledge of company and industry safety and health policies and programs, as required for specific roles.  
  • Good communication skills to comprehend, follow direction, convey detailed technical data and work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers.

Total Rewards Package         

  • Salary: $61.00 - $80.00 per hour, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
