Phoenix Flavors & Fragrances is a leading manufacturer of innovative fragrance and flavor solutions serving customers across a wide range of industries. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Compounder to join our manufacturing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for blending, mixing, and preparing fragrance batches in accordance with written formulas, quality standards, and established procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing high-quality products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process fragrance batches according to established formulas, specifications, and procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize processing equipment, tanks, pumps, and associated production equipment.
  • Stage, weigh, and transfer raw materials.
  • Operate blending and compounding equipment, including mixers, pumps, and scales.
  • Complete all required GMP documentation, records, and logbooks accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain compliance with cGMP requirements, FDA regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Utilize inventory lot rotation practices (FIFO) for all materials used.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
  • Maintain product quality standards with a rejection rate not exceeding 0.2%.
  • Consistently meet established productivity, quality, attendance, and safety standards.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and availability to work overtime as business needs require.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of fragrance and/or flavor compounding experience required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
  • Forklift certification is a plus; training will be provided.
  • Must be able to wear steel-toe shoes/boots and other required PPE.
