Job description

As a Mechanical Technician, Roggen Midstream, you will work independently and with others to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks. They troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. This position will report to the Roggen, CO location. This position qualifies for overtime for any hours worked over 40 in a given week.

What You'll Do

  • Performing maintenance and repairs on engines, compressors and associated components, such as compressor valves, spark plugs, cooling and lubrication systems (auxiliary)
  • Leading or performing overhaul of compressors and engines/engine swings, including foundation work, initial alignment, testing, and startup
  • Ensuring the safe, effective and efficient performance of maintenance and operation activities in accordance with Company standards and regulatory guidelines
  • Complying with company policies, procedures and directives
  • Performing work on air pollution control equipment
  • Performing required preventive and corrective maintenance on various types of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Identifying maintenance work and initiating work requests
  • Driving a company owned vehicle within assigned area
  • Training less experienced employees and overseeing the work of contract personnel
  • Diagnosing mechanical problems
  • Providing Quality Assurance/Quality Control over 3rd Party contractors performing major maintenance

What You'll Bring - Required

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Must be willing and able to respond to call outs, residing within a 60-minute drive of the work location
  • 1 or more years maintenance/mechanical experience in oil and gas or related industry
  • Must be willing and able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to comply with the following:
    • Climb various ladders and stairs ranging 5 to 20 feet in height on platforms and catwalks to perform maintenance on equipment as part of this position
    • Raise and transport articles weighing up to 50 pounds
    • Occasionally exerts pulling force of 100 pounds
    • Walk, stand, stoop, sit, climb, and carry material on a daily basis on even and uneven terrain
    • Work outside in harsh weather conditions
    • Work alone a high percentage of the time
    • Work scheduled or unscheduled overtime on an as-needed basis
    • Wear fire-retardant clothing and other personal protective equipment, such as steel-toe shoes and ear and eye protection
    • Maintain all required operations and safety training including required Operator Qualifications for DOT covered tasks

What Makes You Stand Out - Preferred

  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, and available maintenance programs
  • 3 or more years direct experience with reading schematics, manuals and drawings
  • A sound knowledge of code requirements, including OSHA, Process Safety
  • 5 or more years maintenance/mechanical experience in oil and gas or related industry

Compensation Range 

This position has a base salary range of $72,000.00 - $114,400.00.
