Your Role 

Assembler – Foam 

Shift and Hours: Morning shift

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Using your strong teamwork skills, you have experience or are willing to learn how to use saws paired with working in an industrial manufacturing environment. You will safely and efficiently cut and adhere foam to cases to meet customer specifications for quality and on-time delivery. You will log in and out of jobs in the Ops Center (Production software planning system) to track jobs and follow production schedules. You’ll also follow safety and personal protective equipment requirements 

What You’ll Be Doing 

Foam Assembly 

  • Safe use of band saws (vertical/ horizontal), Dye Press, utility knives or other blades to cut foam to customer specifications 

  • Use production software and other site-specific production line paths to track jobs 

Foam Application 

  • Adhere hot glue to cases, crates or other pieces of foam using adhesives, glue and hot air to seal foam 

Safe & Efficient Facility Team Member 

  • Address and report all equipment defects or maintenance needs to maintain safe and efficient use. Follow all procedures, policies and know the equipment before using it 

  • Speak up when observing something that may be unsafe or someone performing unsafe acts 

  • Efficiently perform work according to standard operating procedures 

  • Work together with other team members to accomplish tasks safely in a fast-paced production environment 

What We’d Like to See from You 

Required 

  • Must have ability to read fractional measurements on mechanical drawings 

  • Must be accurate with measurements down to 1/16” 

Preferred 

  • Bilingual English and Spanish 

  • Willingness to use saws, heat sealers, industrial hot melt glue, utility knives, machinery and varying textures of foam 

  • Basic computer skills to use Ops Center to log in & out of jobs with employee ID number 

  • Ability to learn new software
