How much do fpgee jobs pay per hour?

As of Jul 13, 2026, the average hourly pay for fpgee in the United States is $26.34, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $15.14 and $30.77 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What after fpgee?

After passing the FPGEE, foreign-educated physicians typically need to complete the US Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) steps, obtain residency training, and fulfill state licensing requirements to practice medicine in the United States. These steps are essential for certification and licensure as a licensed physician.

Is pharmacy oversaturated in 2026?

The pharmacy field, including roles like FPGEE-eligible pharmacists, faces varying demand depending on location and healthcare needs. While some areas experience high competition due to an increasing number of pharmacy graduates, demand for licensed pharmacists remains steady in many regions, especially with evolving healthcare services and medication management roles.

Can a pharmacist make $200,000?

Pharmacists can earn $200,000 or more annually, especially with experience, specialization, or working in high-paying settings such as hospitals or retail chains. Salaries vary by location, employer, and years of practice, but reaching this level is achievable for many experienced pharmacists. Advanced certifications and managerial roles can also contribute to higher earnings.

What is the difference between Fpgee vs Geologist?

CriteriaFpgeeGeologist
Required CredentialsEngineering license, Fpgee certificationGeology degree, state licensure
Work EnvironmentEnvironmental consulting, engineering firmsResearch, exploration, fieldwork
Industry UsageEnvironmental and engineering projectsNatural resource exploration, academia

Fpgee professionals focus on engineering aspects of environmental projects, often requiring engineering licensure and certifications. Geologists primarily study Earth's processes, working in exploration and research. While both roles may work in environmental settings, Fpgee emphasizes engineering solutions, whereas geologists focus on geological analysis.

What is FPGEE?

FPGEE stands for the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination. It is a standardized exam administered by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) for pharmacists who graduated from pharmacy schools outside the United States. Passing the FPGEE is a prerequisite for foreign-trained pharmacists to become licensed in the U.S. The exam assesses knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacy, and the U.S. healthcare system. Successful completion is required before taking the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT) and moving forward with state licensure procedures.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an FPGEE candidate, and why are they important?

To thrive as an FPGEE (Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination) candidate, you need a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology, and U.S. pharmacy law, along with a recognized pharmacy degree from a non-U.S. institution. Familiarity with exam preparation resources, computerized testing platforms, and possibly certification in English language proficiency (such as TOEFL iBT) is typical. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective time management help candidates excel during exam preparation and testing. These skills and qualifications are crucial for successfully passing the FPGEE, which is a key step toward U.S. pharmacist licensure for foreign graduates.

Who is eligible for Fpgec?

Eligibility for an Fpgee (Foreign Practice General Examination Certificate) typically requires candidates to have a valid medical degree, relevant clinical experience, and proficiency in English. Applicants must also pass the Fpgee exam, which assesses knowledge of medical practice standards and ethics applicable in the country where they seek certification.

What are some common challenges that candidates face when preparing for the FPGEE exam, and how can they overcome them?

Candidates preparing for the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination (FPGEE) often face challenges such as adapting to the U.S. pharmacy curriculum, managing time effectively for comprehensive study, and understanding the specific exam format and question styles. To overcome these hurdles, it's helpful to create a structured study plan, utilize official FPGEE preparation materials, and participate in study groups or online forums for peer support. Additionally, practicing with sample questions and mock exams can build familiarity with the test and boost confidence.
