Job Description Summary
Fox Valley Technical College is establishing pool of supervising dentists for dental hygiene clinicals.
Hours vary, up to 11.75 hours per week.
Job Description
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The following duties are primarily performed and are essential for this position. Employees are expected to be able to perform each of these job duties satisfactorily to be qualified for the position. Other duties may be required and assigned.
  • Along with dental hygiene faculty, oversee campus clinic of learners providing assessments and treatment of dental hygiene care to patients.
  • Review medical history performance provided from dental hygiene students.
  • Assess outcome of dental hygiene students performance of head, neck and oral exam.
  • Grade radiographic images performed by dental hygiene students.
  • Grade dental charting outcomes from dental hygiene students.
  • Provide feedback to dental hygiene students radiographic interpretation of findings.
  • Authorize prescriptions for radiographic images, fluoride treatments, and local anesthetic.
  • Calibrate with dental hygiene faculty.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Dentistry

Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements:
  • Requires a valid Wisconsin Dentist License
  • Current CPR certificate

Physical Requirements

Additional Information
Pay Rate: $65.00 per hour.
