Foundry Manager

Job Summary

The Foundry Manager oversees daily foundry operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while maintaining quality standards. This role leads production teams, manages scheduling, process improvements, and employee development, and works cross-functionally to achieve operational goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of foundry manufacturing experience
  • Strong leadership and supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of foundry operations, production planning, and safety standards
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing
  • Knowledge of quality systems and production reporting

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily foundry operations, including melting, molding, and heat treatment
