Position Overview: As an Inspector, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our castings meet all production and quality standards. You’ll operate machinery, conduct detailed inspections, and play a key role in maintaining our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate press and inspect castings based on acceptance criteria.
  • Thoroughly understand and implement customer-specific quality requirements.
  • Perform dry and wet magnetic particle inspections, as well as dye penetrant inspections under supervision.
  • Use gauges, fixtures, and measuring tools to ensure compliance with MSS – SP55 visual acceptance standards.
  • Conduct precise visual inspections to identify conformities and nonconformities in castings.
  • Accurately record inspection results and maintain detailed records.
  • Operate cranes as needed and perform minor cosmetic repairs on castings.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience & Skill Set: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in production and quality control processes is a plus.
  • Physical Capability: Must have the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. (assistance is available for weights over 50 lbs.) and work in environments with extreme temperatures or dust.
  • Education & Language Skills: High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Dependability: Consistent attendance and flexibility in working hours are crucial for this role.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
