What do foundation interns do?

As a Foundation Intern, you can expect to support a variety of projects, such as assisting with fundraising campaigns, organizing events, conducting research on grant opportunities, and helping with donor communications. The role typically involves a mix of administrative tasks, project management, and stakeholder engagement, providing valuable exposure to how a foundation operates. This experience can serve as an excellent stepping stone for future roles in nonprofit management or philanthropy.

Brkthru Hiring and AI Usage

Brkthru welcomes candidates to use AI tools for proofreading or strengthening their resume, but submitting AI-generated cover letters, resumes, or work samples that do not accurately represent a candidate’s skills will be considered a red flag. The use of AI-powered 'whispering bots' or real-time answer-generation apps during live interviews is strictly prohibited.
