Job description

Summary:
Join us in advancing programs that strengthen families and communities. The Foundation Development Officer plays a key role in fueling the mission of the Rosen Aquatic & Fitness Center, the Rosen Preschools, and other Rosen non-profits by driving impactful fundraising efforts.
This position leads donor engagement, develops and executes fundraising campaigns, and manages grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government partners. The ideal candidate brings a passion for community impact and a proactive approach to building partnerships that sustain and grow philanthropic support.
Responsibilities:
  • Seek and acquire new funding opportunities for Rosen's 501c3 organizations
  • Drive development by identifying, cultivating, and soliciting corporate and individual donors while maintaining a pipeline of potential donors
  • Serve as representative of the foundations at networking events such as local chamber events, conferences and community meetings to network and create awareness of the foundation's mission
  • Identify and assess grant opportunities at the local, state, and national levels and craft persuasive, competitive proposals that advance organizational funding goals
  • Collaborate with relevant staff to gather pertinent program information and goals for grant submissions while aligning funding to support such programs in the long term
  • Disseminate details for awarded grants and ensure methods are in place for tracking and reporting on target outcomes
  • Partner with Communications, Community Relations and Marketing teams on fundraising campaign and donor relations messaging
  • Develop strategies to encourage and increase in-kind donations of materials and services
  • Serve as a resource for scholarship funding research for the Rosen scholarship program
  • Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, grant writing, and donor relations.
  • Proven fund development experience and track record of successful grant attainment for nonprofit organizations.
  • Able to build effective relationships with donors, corporate contacts, prospects, and board members.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team with senior leadership and staff.
  • Capable of managing constantly changing work priorities in a deadline-oriented, time-sensitive environment.
  • Ability to regularly use independent judgment, discretion, and analytical skills.
  • Must possess proficient computer skills, including, but not limited to, document processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and constituent relationship management systems.
  • Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, public relations or related field required.
