The Youth Service Bureau of Illinois Valley is seeking compassionate, reliable individuals to join our team as Foster Care Case Aides. 


Position Overview
The Foster Care Case Aide plays a vital role in supporting foster care services by providing transportation for clients and supervising family visits under the guidance of the Foster Care Supervisor. This position is ideal for those who are organized, empathetic, and dedicated to making a positive difference.


Schedule Requirements

  • Availability during the day and into the evening
  • Weekends as needed


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and communicate with parents, foster parents, and other involved parties regarding appointments and visit schedules
  • Provide safe and reliable transportation for clients
  • Supervise family visits in accordance with agency guidelines
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, families, and team members


Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 21
  • Demonstrated experience working with children and families
  • Ability to work effectively within a structured agency environment and under supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with clients, service providers, and community partners
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record 
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity to diverse populations
