Job description

Company Description

Forward is redesigning the way we deliver healthcare using all the technologies healthcare has neglected: sensors, mobile, and AI. We were founded in January 2016 by former executives and engineering leaders from Google and Uber. We are funded by some of the world's best investors and entrepreneurs including Founder's Fund, Khosla Ventures, First Round Capital, Eric Schmidt (Google/Alphabet Chairman), Marc Benioff (Salesforce Founder), Joe Lonsdale (Palantir Founder), Joshua Kushner (Oscar co-Founder) and Garrett Camp (Uber co-Founder).

You can read our story here and some recent press USA Today, Forbes & TechCrunch.

We're expanding into Los Angeles very soon, and we're looking for great people to join the new team there. We're searching for an in-store sales advisor to guide existing Forward members and to sell Forward to prospective customers. It's an incredible opportunity to provide a ton of value where we need it most: helping us grow our member base in a brand new territory. You are on the front line of our team, engaging prospective members and closing sales. We need someone who can help tell our story and rapidly grow Forward during this critical early stage.

Job Description
  • Own the entire sales cycle in our LA location, from initial discovery to close. You'll drive our early sales and growth that will be critical to the success of the company.
  • Engage our prospective members as they walk through the door and tell them our story.
  • Lead product demos and take prospective members through a tangible, immersive experience that shows them what being a Forward member looks like and feels like.
  • Close deals and drive our growth with each new sign-up.
  • Wear many hats - we need someone who can do many things well with little hand holding and can easily pivot as priorities shift. We're small and scrappy, so it's crucial that you're able to think on your feet and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Project ownership - oversee multiple projects under tight deadlines while working alongside cross-functional teams of physicians, engineers, and operators.
  • Process improvement - we're growing fast and have lots to build along the way. We're looking for someone who will develop new processes to optimize work flows and make operations more efficient.
Qualifications
  • B.A. or B.S.
  • 1-3 years in a high-growth sales environment, preferably at a tech startup.
  • Proven track-record of owning a sales cycle from start-to-finish.
  • Adept relationship-building skills
  • A high level of ownership, confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and great follow-through on tasks.
Additional Information

Why join Forward?
We don't want to just move dollars around the healthcare industry - we want to rebuild it and fix it. All of it. You'd be a major part of the story behind one of the most ambitious startup attempts of the past decade and you'd work with a team of people who want to use their talents for good.
