What does this role look like?
As a
System Engineer supporting the Terminal HighAltitude Area Defense (THAAD) program, you will play a pivotal role in translating mission objectives into clear system design.
In this role, you will:
Report to the WSE System Engineering Manager supporting system modeling and simulation for both United States Government and existing/future Foreign Military Sales contracts.
Develop Software for a Hi-fidelity simulation (C, C++, Fortran, and Python)
Develop Software for a med-fi simulation (C, C++)
Build and Update development documentation
Refactor Software for legacy software architecture
Debug issues during integration testing
- Build, update, and verify unit test procedures for software change request (SCR)
Update compilers via Linux operating system
Participate in system level design reviews and performance interchange meetings for future capabilities.
Interact well with peers, leadership, customers and subcontractors
Support technical discussions, and communicate in a clear and concise manner
Take the initiative to support the WSE organizations goals.
