Job Title: Trajectory Simulation & Analysis Aerospace Engineer Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: None Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None * * * The Opportunity: As a member of CACI's trajectory team in Santa Maria, CA, you will assist with launch vehicle trajectory simulations & analyses and launch day operations performed in support of critical U.S. spacecraft missions. Responsibilities: Develop and analyze computer simulations for launch vehicle trajectories

Assist senior engineers with trajectory verification and validation analyses. Generate trajectory simulations for real-time flight displays on launch day. Qualifications: Required: B.S., or higher, in Aerospace Engineering

Must be a US Citizen Course work in Astronautics (orbital mechanics, spacecraft attitude dynamics, etc.). Ability to analyze flight mechanics processes using engineering principles. Proficiency with MATLAB scripting, plotting and data processing

Desired: Experience developing, troubleshooting, analyzing flight vehicle simulations. Programming and scripting skills: Perl, Python, FORTRAN, C++. Experience and/or course work in the following areas: Optimization techniques Probability analysis - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
