Equipment Control Manager

We are looking for self-motivated and dynamic professionals to join our growing team at Forrest Logistics! As an Equipment Control Manager, you will maintain and ensure compliance and utilization of assets operated by Forrest Logistics. This role combines operational activity with financial responsibility.

Daily Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Exhibiting excellent analytical abilities to support and maintain all equipment activity.
  • Analyzing asset usage data to help extract meaningful insight and trends to provide support when making business decisions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with equipment providers, rails, ports, leasing companies and carriers.
  • Completing financial responsibilities and taking ownership of Equipment General Ledger
  • Working closely with Account Managers and Accounting Team to ensure operational success
  • Review, record and analyze usage invoices for accuracy and payment approval.
  • Ensure correct charges are billed to customers, paid to carriers and proper deductions are taken
  • Monitoring and tracking all equipment out gated under Forrest SCAC.
  • Researching and investigating issues with a strong sense of urgency
  • Developing and implementing Excel-based solutions to improve efficiency and data set

  • Strong excel skills needed
