Job description

We're looking for a Forms Manager to revolutionize this integral part of our Operations team with strong leadership skills, process revision and implementation, and the desire to make an impact on our customers and industry. As a leading member of this key component of our business, you will enter an environment to design, innovate, develop and deliver new features to our transaction management platforms, which our real estate brokerage clients rely on daily for their transactions. 
We are looking for dynamic leaders to drive team projects, foster ongoing development and improvement, and deliver results to contribute to both department- and company-wide objectives. You will collaborate with, learn from, and teach some of the best engineers in the business and leaders in the real estate industry. We are building for the future and it is day one. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
  • Evaluate current processes and make necessary improvements or changes as needed 

  • Continuously develop team members and skillsets 

  • Stay up-to-date on changes in the Real Estate industry and laws 

  • Work directly with our clients to understand their needs and relay information to team members 

  • Build, update, and maintain database tables 

  • Collaborate with other departments in order to deliver optimal results and prioritize a smooth client experience 

  • Work collaboratively in a team setting to design, develop, test, and continually improve our products 

  • Give and receive constructive feedback in a peer review environment 

  • Proactively stay up-to-date on the latest product updates and software releases 

  • As a leader, aid in the enforcement of company policies 

  • Manage escalations and solve high-importance issues 

  • Maintain coding, compliance, and security standards 

  • Take ownership of decision-making and utilize data and know-how to make informed choices 

  • Hire and train new team members, and manage performance of existing team 

  • Approve vacation and personal time-off requests for direct reports 

  • Provide growth opportunities to direct reports through professional development, company resources, and your network 

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations 

  • Experience influencing software engineering best practices within your team 

  • Understanding of basic project management principles 

  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat 

  • Experience managing direct reports 

  • Experience training, leading, or mentoring team members 

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • EDUCATION:  2-5 years experience as a front-end developer or database administrator 

  • EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field preferred but not required
