Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:This is for a Full Time Cytologist position. Hours are 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday. Position includes a $20,000 sign on bonus.

* Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the patient s needs.
* Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of growth and development.
* Demonstrates an understanding of range of treatment needed by these patients.


TECHNICAL SKILLS/Performs technical procedures in assigned department. Accurately and cognitively analyzes and reports test data, performs routine and corrective maintenance on equipment, fulfills quality control requirements of the section and meets evaluation standards as required by the section and department standards.
* Maintains absolute integrity

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Graduate of an approved program in Cytotechnologists
* Minimum one (1) year experience preferred as Cytotechnologist in a hospital setting.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision,
color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, the ability to adjust focus, and form
perception required to notice pertinent details of specimens under microscopic study.
Color discrimination required to distinguish various shades and colors of specimens and
reactions.


LICENSURE
* Must be licensed as Cytotechnologists in the state of Florida.
