Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Gemini Precision Machining, Inc / 700 E Soper Road, Bad Axe, Michigan
Available Work Hours: 2nd Shift / 3:30pm - 12:00am
$500 Sign-On Bonus

"Want to become a leader in a precision CNC manufacturing facility that is a leader in the Forge Tooling industry?
As an Off-Shift Supervisor you'll be responsible for overseeing all manufacturing personnel and operations on the off shifts. You'll communicate with the Operations Manager, other Supervisors, and Production Scheduler to plan manufacturing or employee needs accordingly, then lead the off shift team to ensure those plans are executed and problems are resolved efficiently. You'll support all operations involved with running a precision CNC machining, Forge Tooling facility, and take pride in seeing the results of your work out in the world.
What this work looks like:
  • Supervise all manufacturing personnel on 2nd and 3rd shifts.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure productivity and employee morale.
  • Resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Ensure smooth operations in CNC machining and forge tooling processes.
  • Monitor equipment, troubleshoot issues, and maintain safety standards.
  • Coordinate emergency response and incident reporting during off-hours.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager, other Supervisors, and Production Scheduler.
  • Communicate shift updates, production goals, and any operational concerns.
  • Ensure alignment between shifts to maintain continuity and efficiency.
  • Plan staffing and production needs based on schedules and priorities.
  • Execute manufacturing plans and adapt to changing demands.
  • Track performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills need to win:
  • 4+ years experience with CNC machining, programs, and processes.
  • Strong mechanical and process troubleshooting skills.
