Job description

Network Engineer (Network Access Control (Forescout) )

Location: Mclean, VA/Richmond, VA and Plano, TX

Hybrid Location

Responsibilities

● Deploy, configure, and maintain Forescout CounterACT in enterprise environments

● Develop NAC policies to control device access based on compliance and posture

● Integrate Forescout with other security tools (SIEMs, firewalls, Active Directory, etc)

Preferred Skills

● Comprehensive understanding of NAC technology, demonstrate solid technical knowledge of security products in an enterprise environment

● Previous experience as a NAC engineer; designing, building and supporting enterprise computing platforms and systems

● Demonstrate proficient knowledge of L2 and L3 networks

● Solid understanding of Cloud / Virtual Compute platforms and their supporting infrastructure

● Solid understanding of High Availability strategies

● Familiarity with the concepts of infrastructure as code, test driven development and automated deployment of infrastructure solutions

● Scripting and\or automation skills in various languages (such as Python, Ruby, BASH, Powershell, etc.)

● Good communicator who is willing to share and teach amongst peers

● Willingness to update and contribute to living engineering documentation

● Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

● Hands on experience with Cisco ISE or Aruba ClearPass

● Hands on experience with Forescout technologies

● Ability to work on high level projects and low level network changes.

● Good to have: knowledge on IDS/IPS, Fabric technologies, zero trust, general network concepts and routing protocols
