Position Summary:
The network engineer will lead critical, high-stakes rapid growth initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for standardizing the infrastructure of all locations and merging their networks into a unified, high-performance network with minimal business disruption. The ideal candidate is a collaborative technical leader who brings deep expertise in ground-up network design, robust firewall security, enterprise storage networking, and advanced virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of network engineering experience, ideally in multi-site manufacturing.
  • Expertise in complex subnetting, VLSM, and global IPAM strategies for efficient resource tracking.
  • Design and deploy a unified network strategy across 20 global manufacturing sites.
  • Configure and manage enterprise-grade switching infrastructure to optimize LAN performance.
  • Maintain high-availability cross-site connectivity using SD-WAN, MPLS, and routing protocols.
  • Active Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Engineer (PCNE) certification required.
  • Deploy global firewall strategies using Palo Alto Panorama, Prisma Access VPN, and SASE.
  • Implement IT/OT network segmentation to secure critical assets like PLCs and CNC machines.
  • Align infrastructure with NIST 800-171 and CMMC cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
  • Manage and troubleshoot regular network maintenance and support hardware refreshes.
  • Administer Forescout Network Access Control (NAC) for device visibility and policy enforcement.
  • Provision, monitor, and troubleshoot network path redundancy (MPIO) and bandwidth aggregation for enterprise storage systems, including Dell, Pure Storage, and NetApp.
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR/EAR for compliance with export control regulations and CMMC.

  • Mastery of networking protocols: TCP/UDP, iSCSI, FCoE, DNS, DHCP, SSH, and NFS.
  • Expertise in deploying Cisco and Nexus switching, wireless controllers, access points and utilizing EtherChannel, LACP, and vPC for server integration.
  • Advanced firewall administration including security policies, port management, and NAT.
  • Deep technical knowledge of fiber and Ethernet standards for cabling architecture.
  • Virtualization expertise with VMware and Hyper-V management, vMotion, and Live Migrations.
  • Architecting storage fabric redundancy using Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and FCoE.
  • Hands-on experience with high-availability NetApp and Pure Storage solutions.
  • Unwavering commitment to organizational change control protocols and standards.
  • Flexibility for off-hours maintenance to ensure zero operational downtime.
