The Opportunity
As an Investigations and Forensics Consulting Intern, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you support teams in delivering investigation and forensic services to address fraud, misconduct, disputes, and regulatory or legal matters. Within our Advisory practice, you will be part of a team that guides clients towards sustainable growth and competitive advantage in today's dynamic market. You will have the chance to learn and apply professional and technical standards, gaining exposure to PwC's methodologies and practices.
As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices, supporting teams with basic tasks, and participating in projects. You will observe professional work environments and contribute reliably to the team's success. This role emphasizes the importance of taking both observational and participatory roles, allowing you to develop your personal brand and paving the way for future opportunities.
In this role at PwC, you will be encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and produce quality work that adds value for our clients. You will gather information from a range of sources to analyze facts and discern patterns, committing to understanding how the business works and building commercial awareness.
Responsibilities
- Supporting forensic investigations by gathering and analyzing evidence related to potential fraud and misconduct
- Participating in compliance risk assessments to identify and manage risks associated with non-compliance with laws and regulations
- Assisting in the development of strategies for fraud prevention and detection to mitigate financial and reputational risks
- Engaging in data analytics to derive insights and support investigative processes
- Collaborating with teams to conduct forensic accounting and financial crime investigations
- Observing and learning from experienced professionals to gain exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies
- Contributing to the preparation of reports and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations to clients

What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Client service intern positions are entry-level and job seekers are traditionally either in their 3rd year of a 4 year degree program or in the 4th year of a 5 year program. Client service interns typically join us during the winter/spring or summer prior to their intended graduation year
