Job description

RiseWell Community Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team in Richmond Hill, Queens, NY. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals living with serious mental illness by providing community-based, recovery-oriented support.

In this role, you will provide management and administration of medications, in conjunction with the psychiatrist, and registered nurse as a member of a mobile, multidisciplinary treatment team for persons with severe mental illness and forensic involvement

Hours: 21 hours/week

QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the New York State Education Department. Valid and clean NY State driver license. Minimum of 1 year of psychiatric experience in a treatment or rehabilitation setting. Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from NYS Office of Mental Health.
