Responsibilities

Draw quality blood samples from patients in various settings, including doctor’s offices and patient service centers

Prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures

Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper labeling of blood samples, including patient initials and signatures post-venipuncture

Maintain accurate records and documentation of collection procedures and patient information

Create a professional, safe, and trustful environment for patients during specimen collection

Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection duties with confidence and adherence to safety protocols

Follow all policies and procedures, including safety and confidentiality standards

Travel between multiple locations as needed to cover lab collection sites and patient service centers
