Job description

NEW Cytotechnologist OR Cytotech Opening at a large, full service laboratory. This laboratory specializes in hematology/oncology, dermatology, urology, gynecology, non-gyn cytopathology, neuropathology and forensic medicine (as well as others). Also, this laboratory is fully certified by the state of Tennessee, College of American Pathologists (CAP) and the Joint Commission as well as the Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA).

This laboratory is looking to hire a permanent and full time Cytotech on DAYS (7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday). The cytotech will be responsible for examining gynecological and/or non-gynecological slides to detect evidence of diseased conditions and pre-malignant and malignant cells. . For consideration, applicants must have graduated from an approved school of Cytotechnology and be certified as a Cytotechnologist through ASCP.
