Job description

The S4S Foreign Disclosure Representative's primary function is to serve as the senior security specialist supporting the local Special Security Office (SSO) in the conduct of Information Protection and Foreign Disclosure activities for the command. In accordance with Department of Defense (DoD), Director of National Intelligence (DNI) and Air Force directives, regulations and instructions, implements local policies and procedures to ensure the effective and efficient management for military, civilian and contractor personnel necessary to protect information consistent with the foreign disclosure programs.

The position is located at Vandenberg Space Force Base.

Performance Shall Include:

  • 9+ years of Information Protection and Foreign Disclosure experience at the TS/SCI level.
  • Formulates plans, policies, procedures and other documentation required to conduct foreign partner integration operations as it pertains to information protection functions and activities.
  • Assist with Staff Assistance Visits and other local inspections as required.
  • Prepares and presents reports with appropriate corrective actions delineated.
  • Enforce foreign contact and travel requirements, entry procedures, escort procedures, document control procedures, and classification review/guidance requests.
  • Coordinate with Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO) on SCI access for Foreign Nationals as necessary for local mission requirements.
  • Maintain liaison with HHQ FDO to ensure foreign disclosure procedures, policies, and training are properly coordinated, and consistent with international agreements.
  • Respond to foreign disclosure requests with FDO and ISSM in order to make a concerted decision regarding access to sensitive information, facilities and systems. Coordinate with HHQ when issues involving all foreign partners arise.
  • Maintain oversight of all assigned partner Delegation of Disclosure Authority Letters (DDL).

  • Must have at least (9) nine years of experience with BS degree or 10 years of experience of security experience in the USAF or USSF.
  • 5+ years of related experience with Information Protection and Foreign Disclosure at the SCI Level.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent additional experience (4 years).
  • Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility. Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.
  • Well versed in applicable regulations including: DoDD 5230.20, DAFI 16-201 and DAFI 10-1801.
